Cat Wagner is the founder of Rising Phoenix Energy Healing Services, where she combines a variety of disciplines and modalities in order to help people advance on their own healing paths. Her passions and wonders exist among multiple areas of knowledge, healing techniques, and experiences.

Although Cat already has a full time career as a teacher, through Rising Phoenix, she enjoys working with a variety of people and collaborating with them in a non-judgemental way in order to help them improve their lives, facilitate healing within themselves, decondition from societal norms and expectations, and get to know themselves in a more authentic way with a goal of true self-acceptance.

Like many others, as a child, Cat was quite curious and open to the existence of that which lies beyond our immediate, physical world. Having dreams that would come true days to years later, experiencing strong gut feelings about something that would happen, and too many “coincidences” always confirmed to her that there was more to life than meets the eye.

As life continued, and as society conditioned her to pay less attention to these experiences, she didn’t prioritize putting much time or effort into developing these gifts.

Throughout time, ghost stories and horror movies always caught her attention, and held her interest in the unexplainable. As she got older and finished her schooling, continued unexplainable experiences, dreams, and coincidences pulled her back into the spiritual realm, encouraging her to dip her toes into it in a more serious way.

In 2016, Cat decided to step into the energy healing space with her first taste of official training when her mom told her about a Reiki class. Intrigued, Cat signed up to take Usui Holy Fire Level I and II with her mom, and felt strongly connected to Reiki energy from there on out. She found that those first few classes of Reiki almost instantly resolved years of racing and repetitive thoughts at night, suddenly making it easier to fall asleep.

After Level I and II, she continued on with Reiki, becoming certified as a Reiki Master in Usui Holy Fire Reiki. A few years later, she decided to add to her skill set and understanding, and she became certified as a Reiki Master in Karuna Reiki. In 2024, for something a little different, she became a certified Angelic Practitioner, working with the energy of Archangels specifically in order to bring messages and healing to people. In the years in between these certifications, she has trained in a variety of other areas, including Shamanic Techniques, Oracle and Tarot Readings, and Human Design. In addition, Cat has taught herself how to work with runes and the I Ching in order to offer people many options for types of readings they can receive.

For almost a decade, Cat had mainly been using Reiki, Angelic communication, Human Design, and divination tools for herself, family, friends, and pets. Knowing that there already are many talented energy workers out there that facilitate amazing work, Cat was hesitant to step into the space publicly to offer services to people she didn’t know.

After working with the energy of the Phoenix for a year as a Spirit Guide, and trying to figure out why it had begun to show up so much in her life, she discovered that the Phoenix wanted to work with her through a business. It was time to stop hiding, and time to start stepping into the spiritual realm publicly. The Phoenix offered the medicine of rising from the ashes anew, transforming life’s circumstances, and stepping into one’s self and purpose, authentically.

In addition to one-on-one online and distance sessions, Cat also collaborates with two other practitioners to offer a unique in-person group event. Similar to a group meditation or sound bath, participants join a circle and begin their time together with smudging/energy clearing, sound healing, and a guided meditation. Throughout the session, each participant receives individual healing from each of the three energy practitioners who are present, including cord cutting, Reiki, crystal work, and 1-2 oracle cards. Afterward, everyone is invited to share with the circle as a whole, or to speak with the practitioners individually to discuss what came up for them in the session, and to interpret the oracle cards that have been pulled for them.

Cat is enjoying getting to know others in the space through Reiki circles and social media, where everyone has been overwhelmingly welcoming and supportive.
